May 25, 2008 District 1 is asking groups to volunteer to take meetings to the Carol Porto Treatment Facility on Sunday Mornings at 8:30 am. Each week a different group will be responsible for taking the meeting into the facility. Two people from the group are needed (one to chair and one to lead the meeting). A schedule is being developed. Please help take the message to other alcoholics who are still suffering.
Currently, five groups have signed up (231, Cove Point, Happy Hour, Awakenings, and Today). June 1, 8th, 15th, 29th and Jul 6 are taken. All other dates are open as of now.
